The Old College Campus is situated at the heart of Krishnagar town, Nadia District of West Bengal. This campus dates back to 1970. This is aligned along Ananta Hari Mitra Road. This is easily approachable from Krishnagar City Jn. Railway station (2.9 km only) as well as from Bus Road (highway).
This campus consists of three separate buildings overlooking the central playground. There are departmental classrooms of Commerce, Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Geography, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Education and Physical education.
There are other rooms of Principal’s chamber, Library, college staffroom, office room, computer Room, laboratory rooms, conference room, smart class room, Information & Communication technology (ICT) room, auditorium, gym, Students’ common room (both for boys and girls) and last but not the least students’ union room. There is a study centre of IGNOU in this campus which has several dedicated classrooms for this academic activity. There is also girls’ hostel within this campus. There are clean, purified, drinking water taps for the students and staff members within the college campus.
Since the present campus has a space constraint for the existing infrastructure and the number of departments kept on increasing with time, there has been growing requirement for a new college campus. Keeping in view with this dire necessity of additional place for the expansion of the college, the new Second Campus has recently come up at a distance (about 2.4 km) from the old campus within the Krishnanagar town only.
The Second Campus of Dwijendralal college is located at Goda Danga area along Majhdia Road. The Second Campus has been well-planned and designed to accommodate many departments, office, laboratory, staffroom, computer room, canteen and a large playground. Presently, this campus has only one building but there are plans to expand it on two sides of it as separate wings.
